The premise

About

A field guide, not a catalog. A working reference for people designing AI products — principles that bind, patterns that implement them, and live specimens you can poke at instead of screenshots you have to squint at.

It takes a position. Catalogs that treat every pattern as equally valid leave the hard calls to you; this guide makes them, and shows its reasoning so you can disagree precisely.

Author

Nick Sloggett — seasoned design leadership across Google, Apple, Meta, Uber, and Slack.

How it’s made

Set in Inter by Rasmus Andersson. Every demo is scripted and self-contained — no model calls, no telemetry. Real products are referenced by name in “In the wild” notes rather than reproduced as screenshots.
